Character & Design:

An original character.

The upper body is one I almost used for a standard Red Shadows trooper, but I found a recipe I liked better. But the parts were pretty good, so I threw on a no-mask/no-helmet head to make it a "named" character. The character is a tactician/logistics expert for Baron Ironblood. For the name, I just went with the menacing-sounding word "threat" and tossed "red" in front of it.

Adding the longer Indiana Jones lower arms changed the overall proportions of the figure. The lower half of the figure was replaced with the longer legs of Bail Organa to fix the new proportions.

Colors & Paints:

Based on the Palitoy Red Shadows figures.

The red eyes (and the sculpted hair) are an effort to disguise the Kevin O'Leary likeness, which was perfectly sculpted by Bif Bang Pow!.

The best real estate on this figure for the Red Shadows sigil was on the left arm. It was placed there, then an arm band was painted around it.

The skirt greatly limits the leg movement at the hips, so the lack of knee articulation is a moot point.

Sculpting & Modifying:

The hair, midriff, and jodhpur portions of the legs are epoxy sculpted. The jodhpurs were a last-minute addition, correcting the upside-down Y shape of the legs.

The neckpost was shaved down to fit into the head. The lower arms were removed and replaced with the Indiana Jones ones.
