Stefan Irwin was born in Westego, LA in the late 1960s. Born nearly in the swamps of Louisiana and raised by Cajuns the young boy would come to learn the ways of the swamp well by his early teen years.

During those teen years, young Irwin made a living by giving swamp tours on his airboat and putting on live shows showcasing his expertise at 'gator wrasslin' as he called it. Irwin was a monster of a man but generally good-natured and hard working. In addition
to his tour and show's business, Irwin decided to start yet another business venture which he dubbed 'Guard Gators' in which he attempted to train alligators as 'guard dogs'.

Through out the 1980s Irwin continued his businesses and continued to do well financially. The one mistake that finally caught up with him was his failure to pay taxes on his earnings. The IRS stated that 'ignorance was no excuse'. Irwin's properties were seized and his assets frozen. A warrant was soon issued for his arrest.

Irwin fled to The Everglades National Park in Florida, taking with him a map of the area, a satellite radio, a .38 pistol and a double-barreled shotgun as well as his 'gator Sheila. Irwin's plan was to live off the land and hide out until he could figure out what to do with his future.

While hiding out he was attacked by Dreadnoks and was able to fend off four single-handely before the Dreadnok Road Pig was able to subdue him. Held in a cage above ravenous alligators yet showing no fear, Irwin was able to capture the attention of Zartan and was given a chance to prove himself.

Dubbed 'Croc Master' for his talent and taming reptiles, Croc Master was soon given full Dreadnok status and eventually made his way to Cobra Island with the rest of Zartan's gang. Given the harsh swampland and terrain of the island, Croc Master was able to convince Cobra Command to allow him to perform security perimeter sweeps of the islands many swamps which were impassable to vehicles, using alligators and crocodiles as his only support staff.

Years have since passed since Croc Master's employ began with Cobra but there appears to be no end in sight.
