Head, hands: SW Clone Trooper
Feet: 25A Bazooka
All Else: Indiana Jones Crystal Skull Version
Robotic Sleeve Attachments, kibble on uniform: 2002 SW Battle Droid
Design:
Nash Gorey. The Angry Nerd of VENOM. To translate this character to a "Now a Joe" figure, I picked out parts that would showcase a small frame compared to modern era figures. The Indiana Jones figure, especially when its "jacket" is removed, fits the bill perfectly.
As a pre-VENOM Cobra character, I see Nash Gorey as the medical technician who keeps Overkill up and running.
Colors & Paint:
Roughly based on the MASK source figure. I haven't figure out a way to make decent clear eyeglasses on 1:18th scale figures, so I normally use light blue as a stand-in. However, blue would blend too much with the color set on this figure. To contrast against the uniform, I used light pink instead and then painted the frames of the glasses dark brown.
Sculpting & Modifying:
I added the hair and the glasses to the head. A fairly good job of disguising the Clone Trooper head.
To mimic the mechanic portions/arm braces of the original figure, I glued the wiry arms of the Star Wars Battle Droid over the Indiana Jones arms after wrapping paperclip pieces around the biceps/forearms. To make the droid arms just a little less recognizable, they're upside down. Adding these as an exoskeleton takes away the elbow articulation, but adds to the dynamic of the character.
Thanks for looking.
