Repater got a little bit of play in the comic book, mainly in the new recruit issue where he, Lightfoot, and Budo were training to be Joes.

I liked his look and seeing so many great customs from other customizers made me want to make my own. I also wanted to bring him into the modern look after making my own JvsC version of him back in 2006.

I had considered moving away from the "digital camo" that he and other figures from that series had but ultimately felt it helped to add to who he was so I kept it.

Not too much modding was done to this guy. He was a fairly easy assemble. I did sculpt an upper open shirt to be under his tactical vest. The biggest challenge was finding some form of rigging that would work for his big gun.

I wanted him to look big but not Roadblock or Bazooka big so I went with the part choices that would give off that look but not be bulky either.
