Character/design:

One of the unproduced New Sculpt designs, Sand Mann appears to be a ninja type. The images of the uniform aren't exactly clear, but it looks like it would have had a body suit made of a muscle fiber texture or rotting meat.

This wasn't a character I had intended to develop into a custom, but I had a Tusken Raider body with tall boots tacked onto to it floating around. Not exactly the design of the Hasbro drawings, but that's okay. Sometimes unproduced figures don't go to the production stage because they don't work. That may have been the case with Sand Mann's design.

Colors & Painting:

Even the colors are hard to interpret because the image of the artwork is so pixelated. But the figure is loosely based on my best guesses. The arms, except for the forearm wraps, are left as bare flesh to better fit the parts.

Sculpting & Modifying:

The visor is sculpted. The arm pin holes are smoothed with epoxy. The shoulder sockets add snippets of rubber bands to add tension. The boots were glued to the legs.
