Demons, some believed they existed. Others refused to believe. Then the dead began to walk. Religion spread like the plague. Cults springing up all over the world in a vain attempt to explain and give some deeper spiritual meaning to what was happening.

Many lost their lives trying to make deals with the undead, creatures incapable of any rational thought. However, there were those that turned not to a god or the undead themselves but to the other direction. They made deals with the devil.
