This is what happens when you long term borrow a siege crossbow from a fortress and have a smithy attach it to a also liberated wagon. I tried to show off the old and worn wood of the crossbow while showing the metalwork of the base the smithy used to attach it to the wagon. I also learned from drbindy not to make it actually functional and so used flower wire instead of string or cord so it would always be pulled back.
If that wasn't enough, I decided to use a leftover upper body of a knight from another custom and make a jousting practice target that could attach to the same base.
