Jim Shooter was slated to be one of the original 13 members of the G.I. Joe team in 1982, however a last minute injury kept him on the sidelines. At the last minute, he was replaced as the squad automatic weapon man by Rock and Roll.
From Hawk's files: "Quiet, and has the kind of face that you wouldn't remember if you tried. Most of his team wouldn't recognize him out of uniform. The one really strange thing about him, is the two gold-plated Colt Pythons that he added to his standard load out. They have engraved in script on the handles, "To Cobra Commander on his 40th Birthday. To Your Health! - Baroness" I wonder to this day where he might have gotten them. He's not telling, and while I suppose it could be a practical joke, he just doesn't seem the type..."

Soldier Force heads work really well with the old style torsos. This was originally going to be my LRRP Snake Eyes, but I bailed on the idea of doing that group, as it'd been done to death by better customizers than myself. It was inspired by the partial photo that you can see in GI Joe Comic #1. I believe I read somewhere that this was an homage to Jim Shooter, a Marvel employee.
I really like this one.
