All Cross Country

My second batch of Cross Country customs started with this one. I wondered what the mold would look like in Cobra blue and I noticed how the mold was kind of similar to the Viper mold. The Viper was used as my pattern and that's what I stuck with it. I wanted to make the head removable so I could replace it with a Viper helmet but my skills were not up to it so I made a Viper helmet to mount in the cab of the Cobra HAVOC that never got completed. I have since lost the helmet.

It was Hawk's idea to send an infiltrator into Cobra. Cross Country immediately volunteered for the assignment just for the challenge. He managed to convince the Cobra recruiters that he was genuinely fed up with GI Joe and all of the redneck jokes and insults. He told the recruiters how he was sure they were all jealous of his skills with the HAVOC and any other tracked vehicles. They assigned him as head of the motor pool and he worked his way up to HISS leader in no time. In that position he worked as a double agent for a year and did such a fine job that even Chuckles congratulated him on a job well done. Thanks to Cross Country the Joes were one step ahead of Cobra and with his constant sabotaging of the Cobra motor pool, Cobra had a hard time keeping running vehicles on the battlefield.
