Which one of those was the guy who turned down the Duke role to do Avatar?

Wow. That actually is smaller than I thought it'd be in the cockpit area. Thanks for the pics. I still think it looks pretty sweet though.

These figures look like Action Force: The Next Generation :)

Like a dude in a kid sized wheel chair. But he fits. Note the back only goes half way up his torso.

geez, I'm waffling back and forth on all of these. lol. The reports of the size of the drop ship had me scratching it off my list, but then the pics look awesome. Sure it's small in terms of an accurate scaled down version of the movie vehicle, but since it's a made up vehicle anyway, it will fit my purposes just fine I think. So now I'm back to the Mech and this, AND I'm now questioning the wheelchair. lol. Wonder if there's a chair for the 6 inch figs, if that would almost be more useable, with mods?

I saw the figures yesterday in Target. They're WAY too small to fit in with most 1:18th scale lines. Shame too since they were pretty neat looking.

Saw the figures and vehicles today at Target. They're cheaper at Target but still too much. I got the guy in the wheelchair only cause my wife collects "wheelchair toys". She's in a wheelchair herself for those that don't know and has a weird collection of various toys in wheelchairs, hehe. Professor X, the girl figure from the Steel movie, and so on.

Anyway I got the robot just because. I'll wait for all the rest to clearance. Even if you didn't know, it just has that look about the display that says they'll be marked down quick. Toys R Us had a few items, but no figures.

See I didn't understand there is no seat in the mech. I decided to get the mech like I was saying in the previous post and I just put it together. It's actually pretty cool honestly, but I wasn't thinking there was no seats. The figure actually stands through the torso of the robot. While that's fine really, it does limit who can go in. The legs can not be too bulky and the figure can't be any bigger than 4". It works better with the true 3 3/4" size. But anyway I just wanted to add that.

I picked up the Scorpion Gunship the other day, and I must say that I REALLY like it!

It's a bit bigger than I was expecting, and it really is rather heavy. For a single seater, high speed, fighter craft, I think it's a great size.

The detailing is superb. I love the fact that it has a windshied wiper sculpted on it, and that the canopy frame is painted. Plus something I haven't heard mentioned previously is that it has plugs in the screw holes! 8-O

This is something I only recall seeing on the expensive BBi and 21c Toys stuff.

It makes a big difference in esthetics when one side of a vehicle [especially aircraft] isn't riddled with screw holes, like the RoC Cobra Gunship is.

I was also pleasantly surprised that even though two of the Hellfire missiles are spring loaded, it is difficult to tell the difference between them and the other missiles. Nothing wrong with a play-feature that doesn't draw attention to itself. ;-)

I am using BBi Apache pilots as the pilots for my Scorpions, and they fit great.

I am definitely getting more of these! :-D

I hit the only Kmart in my area still open and snagged one of these this morning.

the detailing is great, the look is supremely "modern military" with a nod towards joe-style decal type apps (no step) and it looks a lot like a Sigma 6 dragonhawk...had a baby with a Cobra FANG. It is big for the box it comes in, but small for the $25+ regular price tag. the best comparison i can think of is the scorpion is to a S6dragonhawk what a FANG is to a dragonfly. it would be a cool "fighter" but not the size i would want from a gunship. if this thing was the size and scale of a S6dragonhawk it would be one of the greatest pieces released in the last 10 years. the size it is, it barely compete with an ROC dragonhawk helicopter. The details still rock, but more for MASK size figures. the design is great, the size, eh.

The cockpit is waaay small on the airship, but kmart has it on sale for $14.99, so it's waaay worth it.
