I think you might be your own harshest critic on this one. I can get if it doesn't quite manage to fit the image you had in your mind. But it's pretty freaking cool and fun. I dig it, and I like the extra effort you put in to show it off.
You're probably quite right, but I think it definitely shows better in photos than in person. The chest had to be glued together because the casting wasn't perfect, I also had to use a packaging clear rubber band instead of an O ring and that makes the BAT very floppy.
Because he's so floppy and he has batteries in his back pack, he's prone to back flops.... and then all the backpack work and wireing is sloppy.
So I chalk this one up as a learning experiment... Obviously I think it's a cool idea, you all seem to agree, and I know if I waited till I'd perfected it's use in a custom It'd be another year or two before I finished.

Perfect for those 'it's gonna blow' situations...
Certainly right about that. Like it just walked out of the cartoon. This is brilliant stuff. Now I'm curious for an "on fire"-version...
The place I ordered the
"Welding Kit" also has a
"Fire Kit". I ordered one of these too....but was planning on putting it in a Fuel barrel from the Mortar Defense Unit. Worth thinking about an Inferno BAT.
