  • This section is for honest critique of the work shown here. Members are encouraged to give and accept non-confrontational constructive criticism as well as adoring praise and everything in between.
  • In order to show case everyone's work equally, please post multiple customs on the same day into a single thread. If you have a lot of pictures of your work you may have to add them to a separate post within that thread.
  • Please do not link to a sale thread or to eBay from your critique thread. This section isn't to be used to market your finished work. The Market Place section is better suited for that purpose.

Head: Chromed Jungle-Viper with Tamiya Clear Blue
Torso: DG Snake-Eyes
Arms: Wraith
Legs: Resolute Snake-Eyes

Jump Pack & Sci-Fi Gun

I really like that clear blue paint. I never liked that Neo-Viper head, but you made it desirable.

You still don't like the Neo-Viper head, that there's a Jungle -Viper!

The chrome and blue really do kick it up several notches though.

The Wraith arms actually work well in this case too, and those cases are few and far between.

You're right. I never liked that Jungle Viper head either, but I like that.

Eh... It's ok I guess.


But really, when I first saw it it caught me off guard. I'm not familiar with getting things to look like chrome like that, that's a neat effect.

Thanks for the compliments, folks -

Buck, that head was chromed (at the same time as all the Snake Eyes that we did for last year's Con Set Mortal replacement heads) that I just used the Tamiya Blue over -- the other blue-chromey looking parts are just either factory silver, or silver paint, that I then painted over with the Tamiya Blue ... I first used this look with some of my Discordian customs.

As the self-proclaimed 2nd in Command of Team Red Laser, I have to say that this custom looks good except for all the footprints we are about to leave on it as we steamroll you guys.

If, however, I am not remembering the gallery staff assignments correctly, and I'm actually the 2nd of Team Blue Laser, then I'd say it looks great, and would mostly take back the whole footprints threat.

Not it isn't! It is clearly a Rise of Cobra Ice Viper. Possibly Night Adder. Sheesh. :whistling:

Does he come with a flaming shield or laser sword?

I do agree the blue looks spiffy and the Wraith arms work really well here.
