This one has been a long, long time coming. Several times he got thrown back on the fodder pile, but today I decided to muscle through and finish him. I love the God of War games, and the larger Kratos figures are cool, but I pretty much only collect 3.75" stuff. So I decided to make my own version.

He is completely poseable (gave him a RIT dye base to avoid chipping) and the chains are real. I used a fabric pen to draw the design on the loin cloth.

All in all, I'm pretty happy with how he turned out.

Kratos
Head: 25th Serpentor (modified)
Base body: BnB Wrestler with another BnB wrestler's legs (torso modified with neck ball)
Belt: PotC accessory w/ part of Montezuma's Skeleton armor
Loin cloth: IG Destro cape w/ fabric pen design
Chains: Jewelry chains
Blades of Athena: Resolute Storm Shadow staff blades w/ VvV snake knife handles and hotglue flames

That's just awesome. Coolest custom I have seen in a long time. Amazing details, and I like the fact that you've made it chip-proof (playable). If anything, the flames seems a bit dominant on the gold colored weapons, but then again I have never played the game.

Don't know who teh character is, but the figure looks fantastic. The mods are great and the paintwork is superb.

I really must start doing some of teh hot glue technique.

One of the best customs I have ever seen. Great work all around and I would definitely buy it if I saw it in stores.

dude that's outstanding. Out of the park. Never played the game, but knew instantly what you were going from by the title (saw plenty of game previews), and you nailed it.

Truly superb work on him. You nailed him. Great use of all the parts. Your attention to detail with the chains and the swords and even the shin guards is meticulous.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. For those of you who haven't played the games, I definitely recommend picking them up (especially the second one). Crazy amounts of fun.

The only time Kratos ever really had a skin tone was before he 'died' and became the Ghost of Sparta. I wanted to go with that look as opposed to his Spartan General look.

Solid custom all around. The tattoo is really sharp, the tabbard, swords, and chains are great custom accessories. I'm especially impressed that you made the Serpentor head look so aggressive. I think Kratos has paler skin than that in the game, but the grey you went with is passable.
