Not a lot of progress. Finished the gun and painted it. Also finished the air intake and the exhaust. Also cut out the holes for the windows in the troop area but still need to build the windows themselves.

OK so lots of small stuff but nothing that really stands out. Added headlights, added running boards, built and attached the crew windows, added the stairs to the crew door and attached all of the doors.

this is looking more "madmax" then your other heavy haulers. any chance you will go the weathered look, my vote is for a well worn look!

Not sure about the weathering. I am thinking of making it a tan desert truck. I dont think it lill look Mad Max once it gets painted. I think it is the cut and chop of the WIP that makes it look Mad Max.

Maybe you could put the spare on the back.

I have tried the back too. The roof is about the only place it can go.

i really like it and either way would rock! i think you should cut the bottom two steps off the back set just to be symmetrically pleasing to the eye.

The back one has to be that long because it is the door. It also would not work because the cab steps are a ladder design but the troop box steps are a stair case and needs to get closer to the ground to work. The rear steps are designed off of this concept

OK not a lot of substance to show. I have been working on the seats but they are not ready for pics yet. So what I have done that can be pictured, is I squared off the round wheel wells, I finished the brush guard/bumper and I reworked the winch and installed it. I have also been working inside. Added benches in the back to build the seats on and added a dash and steering wheel.

Progress slows at this point in a build. lots of smaller and often more time consuming items that and more stages of gluing also slows things down. So I started working on the seats 2 days ago and slowly they have came together. After starting them I discovered that with the seat bottoms installed my floor was too low so I had to raise the floor a little. These were the last big job I had. Now all that left is the tail gate and mirrors. Then the build part will be done.
