You can see more pix of Batman Beyond on p. 71

Okay, hopefully the title wasn't too misleading. These obviously aren't Amalgam characters. But they are DC characters built on Marvel figure bases.

The first one finished was, appropriately, the fastest man alive. Flash is largely a Marvel Universe Daredevil (first release) with Marvel Legends Showdown Daredevil lower legs (above the boot) and Marvel Universe Cyclops (Jim Lee version) boots. I tossed in some wings for the head from JLU Flash and this is what I got:

The next one is a WIP. I figure Flash needs someone to race, so I decided to do the big blue boy scout. He's mostly what's left of the Cyclops figure referenced above with some Wild Bill hands and a Dr. Venom head. The cape is from a movie Thor figure.

I'm going for more of a Dean Cain look than Welling or Reeve so, apart from how shiny it still is, I think I'm pretty happy with the head. But any feedback on either is very welcome.

Why can't someone make some Catsai and Dare the Terminator customs?

*sigh*

I like the Flash. Crisp and tight.

I'm not sold on the head though. Reminds of Liu Kang...

Foe'd.

Seriously though, love the Flash custom. Looks like the Flash should, lean and trim. Superman will take some getting used to though. Something about the head isn't working for me yet. Might be the squinty eyes. Neck down though is a good start.

Flash is great. Seriously, Makes me want to get off my butt and complete mine.

supes I don't dig the head, and I am not quite sold on the cape, these are the two things hampering the completion of my own supes btw, so I have no advice to give on that.

This is me on all counts. Flash is great. Have held off on Supes for the reason given. Exception is gijoey just sent me a couple heads and I know I'll get one of them to work.

Capes kill me too. I prefer softgoods to preserve playability, but it's hard to find ones that lay right for the appropriate scale.

For the head, don't dismiss the possibility of a DCIH head, if you have an extra.

Also, I think I have an extra Superman emblem sitting around somewhere (waterslide decal) if you're interested. Shoot me a pm if so.

Its funny, I'm normaly not a fan of that Daredevil figure or body, but it looks great here. It really works for Flash somehow. Nice job on this fig all around. As for Supes Cape, have you tried the regular MU Thor? That cape might work a little better. It drapes over the shoulders a bit lower and would connect to the collar. The head does work for a Dean Cain Superman, but probably not for a comic look. So thats personal preference depending on which version you are creating.

Flash looks great!!!

Supes, however, doesn't look like a good superman to me... but it would sure look great for an Ultraman instead!

I was thinking the same thing. that head looks perfect for the Infinite Crisis anime movie Ultraman look.

Superman looks good (looking forward to seeing the symbol in place), but Flash steals the show.

Flash is professional quality. That's astounding.

The cape is my only hang up with your Supes but Hasbro capes never look good to me so I'm not sure how you could make it work better.

Thirded. That scowl makes him not look like he is standing for Truth, Justice, and the American way. But your use of a club exclusive figure's head is not unnoticed.

Flash is perfect. I'd like to see a side view of him just to see how the wings on the head look.

Flash looks great except I would go with a chest decal for his symbol as the bolt is sorta vinishing in the white.Like the others I'm not really digging the head on Superman as it does sorta resemble Lui Kang from Mortal Kombat. But as Mainframe stated it would make a great Ultraman.

Thanks for all the comments. I'm really happy with Flash and I'm glad he works for y'all.

As for the Superman comments, I went and looked at the Crisis on Two Earths video with my son again today and I am now officially in the market for a new head (this one totally is Ultraman).

Any suggestions?

Oh, and drbindy may be getting a PM shortly about a certain water-slide decal :whistling:
