Lately, I have been trying to clear out or finish off several works-in-progress (WIPs) that have been piling up over time. Desert Breaker, posted yesterday, was one such project. This is another.

I painted the 1985 Weapons Transport in yellow at the end of last year, but have not had a chance to get back and finish it. Two days ago, when I was rumaging through my fodder boxes, I found some extra DG Shipwrecks and struck on the idea of make some LBC (Lazy bastard customs) crew for the Flagg. That idea is what gave me the kick in the pants I needed to finish the tractor.

Despite being LBCs, I really enjoy these. If, some day, I decide to buy a Flagg, they will look great with it.

Enjoy!

OB

I do have a fair number of these v1 DG Shipwreck bodies. I guess my idea for WHALE crew wasn't that far off.

Nice.

Now to find a bunch of Slipstream helmets or Tripwire heads...

Rainbow Sideboys blue shirts

Works well

Only critique is the helmets and life jackets (really would be an inflatable vest) need to be painted blue slightly darker then the shirt

I have a Flagg in rough condition but if/when I get a big enough toy room I am going to build an aircraft carrier like this one.

One of my very favorite vehicle/playset customs of all time.

So many Dollar store figures, so liitle time.

If I had a Flagg I'd have to do this, nice execution.

I did something similar a couple years ago and have since added a few more of the flight deck crew. I've also added a coupe of the weapons transports.
http://www.joecustoms.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=24202&hilit=Flagg+flight+deck+crew

When I first got my Flagg, it was nothing more than the big parts of the Island and the flight deck. I was going to use a large piece of plywood and make a larger, custom flight deck to hold more than just a small handful of planes and helos. I just never got around to doing that part......yet.

Your abilities with vehicles are unbelievable. It's yellow, but it looks like real world metal painted yellow, not junky globby yellow. The figures are also top notch.
