We've been fans of the Tomb Raider series from the very first. Right behind my notebook screen is a rack with all five of the PS1 games, and the P2's, all the way through the redos, remasters, and collections. It was one of my first game related customs (RAH style), and I even own one that the legendary Chief made for me which rocks.

When I saw the newest Tomb Raider, like some, I thought that she was getting a serious redo. My heart sank when I found out that the game was about her beginnings, but we played it anyway and enjoyed it to the end.

Naturally I wanted to make one, and finally put together one with all her kit:

Now I know that she doesn't sport a ripped tank top, but I figured that given the body I used, and what she fights/faces in the game, unless that thing is a Teddy, she is getting it ripped.

Parts used were:

Zanya body, Black Widow head with hair from one of the Hobbit Dwarf brothers(had the perfect pony tail and wispies. Lower arms were from the Luke Skywalker from the medical frigate. Wraps on the arms were the leg wraps on the Starkiller SW battle figure (2 inch bugger) that were hollowed out to be used as slip on's. Her bow, pick axe, and gun were from GIJOE, the holster was from Indiana Jones figures. Her quiver was a cut down and custom crafted mix of the quiver from the Assassin's Creed native character, and the strap was the strap from the Thunder Age MU Thor. Her necklace is a Czech glass seed bead in the needed color on thread. Her watch came from the Navy Seals figures that Chap Mei(?) put out.

Oh, and her GPS/communicator was from the MiniMates Tomb Raider figure, which was an awesome find.

That is brilliant E. simply brilliant.

and I'm loving that you've been posting more updates lately.

I need to make a new Lara, this time to keep for my EXCAL verse. This might give me the kick in the pants I need to start.
