Dino-Viper
Cobra Dinosaur Hunter

Four years ago, a tremor from the extinct volcano on Cobra Island unleashed a group of dinosaurs on the island. G.I. Joe sent in their two-man Dino-Hunters team, Ambush and Low-Light, to round them up before Cobra could use them. Now, a second, more recent tremor unleashed even more dinosaurs, and Cobra was determined to get to them first. They took a patrol of regular Cobra Vipers, altered their outfits to better blend in with the jungle environment, and gave them some basic dinosaur hunting training -- mostly by showing them "Jurassic Park" and "Lost World" and emphasizing the hunting scenes in the latter. The results were disastrous, and at this point, only one Dino-Viper is known to have survived, and he has actually teamed up with Ambush and Low-Light for the duration it takes to subdue this newest influx of dinosaurs.

(Personal note: This is just a basic Cobra Viper (in this particular case, the Python Patrol versoin) with a major repaint. Really, any of the basic Cobra Viper variants would work. To me, the original Cobra Viper (NOT the 1994 version) is the perfect basic Cobra trooper, and I wouldn't've minded seeing more versions of him. So I decided to make one, not long after seeing "Lost World" myself. I could make more than one, I suppose, but I'd need the Vipers to do it with, and generally when I find Vipers these days, I tend to keep them in their respective units. It's a future possibility though. He wasn't that hard and didn't need any extra sculpting or anything.)
