Amber and Quick Kick met after the GI Joe team martial arts expert finished giving a public demonstration.  The two quickly became a pair, going everywhere together including baseball games and operas.  Still, Amber wanted nothing more than to be a member of the GI Joe team.  College life just did not hold the thrills that Quick Kick was always telling her about from his adventuresome exploits.  One day, dressed entirely in black, she broke into GI Joe team headquarters.  The Joes caught her immediately, but upon hearing her
story of wanting to be a team member they let Quick Kick give her a tour of the base.  Unfortunately, she kept appearing in top secret areas, leading the Joes to believe she might be a Cobra spy.  Ultimately, she learned the location of a Cobra base and proceeded there on her own, determined to prove that she was not a spy.  Quick Kick went after her, and the two ultimately stopped yet another insidious Cobra plot, rescuing Lady Jaye and Gung Ho in the process.

Personal Notes:  Too bad Amber only appeared in her black getup for a few seconds.  It's the easiest figure of her to make since no other female Joe figures have long blond hair.  I sanded the top of Jinx's head slightly so her hood looks tighter like Amber's did.  And talk about an easy figure to customize!  Just slop on some black paint, and it's done!
