STALKER
Vietnam LRRP

Appearances - GI Joe 26, 43, 94, 155

Parts Used - Stalker (‘82) head, Doc torso, Roadblock (‘86) arms, waist, and legs, Frostbite gun, Outback (‘87) webbing, Mainframe backpack

Stalker served in the same Long Range Recon Patrol as Snake-Eyes and Storm Shadow during the Vietnam conflict.  Their team of six was caught in a crossfire, and only these three escaped.  Stalker has been known to occasionally show emotion and guilt over the incident, especially the wounding of his friend Snake-Eyes.  Stalker gave orders for the rescue helicopter to leave his friend behind when he was shot, but Storm Shadow raced back to pull Snake Eyes to safety while the huey crew provided cover fire.  Stalker stayed in active duty after the close of the war, and ultimately helped form the GI
Joe team.

This figure is my favorite of the LRRP series.  The body parts all fit and look right together, the paint job turned out great, and the gun turned out well with the added silencer.  The only beef I have with Stalker is that his comm pack looks little like a Vietnam era radio.  I didn't realize this until after I had finished it (using parts scrounged from various places) and watched several Vietnam movies, realizing that Breaker's pack would probably be closer to fact.  Oh well, you can't be perfect. :)
