STALKER
Unproduced Manimal Encounter

Parts Used - Star Brigade Armor Tech Heavy Duty, Battle Corps Major Bludd missile

Yet another figure proposed for 1995 that will probably never be seen on store shelves, Stalker is pictured in AFN&TR's 1994 convention issue.  The odd thing about this figure is that he is pictured on a Hawk Manimal Encounter card, not on his own.  This figure looks like it would have been nothing more than a simple repaint of Heavy Duty, although the head is covered by the helmet, so that part could have been different.  Of course, that isn't too likely, especially since the two characters look relatively similar.  The Manimal Encounter figure subset would have included a small egg with a baby alien inside packaged with each figure.  Three different aliens were created, and were to be released in soft, bendable plastic.  Exactly how many figures were planned is not clear; only Hawk's backing card and Stalker are shown.

Personal notes: OK, so if the Manimal Encounter subset had actually been released, I probably would have thought Hasbro had gone too far.  What exactly do alien babies have
to do with the military?  Unless it's the "X-Files" we're talking about, the two really don't have anything to do with each other.  Still, the paint job on Stalker is a pretty cool  combination.  This figure was also shown with another of Major Bludd's guns, but I didn't have one available to place with it for the photo.
