RIP CORD
Tiger Force

Parts Used - Rip Cord and accessories

Just like Sabre Tooth, Rip Cord was also planned to be a part of the Tiger Force figure assortment.  He was pictured in the Hasbro Toy Fair catalog for 1988, but was ultimately dropped from the line.  Ironically, he did appear with the Tiger Force team in Special Missions #25.  Why he was dropped from the line, no one seems to know outside of the toy company.  Maybe the molds were lost.  Perhaps they felt Rip Cord just wasn't all that interesting of a character.  Personally, as a kid, I never really liked his figure much anyway
for some reason.  Maybe they felt others felt the same way.

Rip Cord would have included the exact same accessories as he originally had in 1984.  From the photo I have clipped from the circular ad picturing six of the planned figures, it appears they would have been about the same colors as then.  Unfortunately, from the photo I can't tell his exact tiger stripe scheme.  It almost looks like he doesn't have any at all, save on his helmet. But, since all the Tiger Force figures had the striping, I opted to put it on his shirt.  For all I know, it could have been the rust color of his pants and not black.  I just took some artistic license on this one.  Also, the stripe pattern is based on Lifeline's.
