Based very loosely on a Soviet naval officer that defected in the comic G.I. Joe Special Missions #1.

(Personal note: This was during a time when I was trying to bolster my Oktober Guard ranks. He looks a bit like the Bulgakov character, except in the comic book he wore a blue coat and had lighter brown hair. He also wasn't technically Oktober Guard. But I needed a name, and the resemblance was sufficient. Head is 1991 Mercer, upper body is 1994 Windchill [that coat again] and lower body is Red Star. So's the hat.)
