The Ophidian is a little project I've been working on for a while now. First, came the leader. When you read the bio for the Ophidian itself, you'll get an better understanding of the organization.

Darkwalker is Cobra Commander's personal bodyguard. Little is known about him, and only Cobra Commander knows what is fact and what is rumor. What is unknown to everyone, is that Darkwalker is also the leader of the Ophidian, a secret organization whose membership is so secret, it's agents do not know any others exist.

The Ophidian
(aka Order of the Serpent)

The Ophidian was created by Cobra Commander himself, to ensure that
the loyalty and dedication of his troops remains total and unquestioned.
Membership is such a closely guarded secret, that no member is ever
aware of another. To that end, it is unknown how many members the
group can actually claim.

The sole purpose of each agent is to act as the swift hand of retribution,
leaving no trace of the part they play in a target's demise. What little
is known about these sinister assassins is that they are all masters of
infiltration, espionage, and sabatage. They are quick, quiet, and
extremely deadly. Members are reported to come from any faction of
Cobra, making it impossible to determine who is a member and who is
not.

"High Command disavows any knowledge of their existance, and scoffs at
the idea as nothing more than ghost stories. Still, even they are uneased
at the potential existance of such a group. Rumor is these...whatever
they are...appear seemingly out of nowhere, and do away with their
targets with extreme ferocity. It is unknown how many people have
actually seen one of them, but those who have didn't live to tell about it."
