I think this figure is a personal record for least amount of time between acquisition and modification. Like a lot of people, I love the Oktober Guard, and the Club offering them up as a con set was a dream come true. But from the very first images I hated. HATED. The leg choice for Horrorshow. The proportions, the poor fit between components. Just ugh. I don't need Horrorshow to have kneepads that badly. So, I made sure to bring a set of Heavy Duty legs and paints to make a close color match to New Orleans with me, and I was painting up those legs that very night in the hotel room. I was too chicken to paint up the crotch to match so I could ditch that skirt, but now that some time has gone by I think I might, valuable figure be damned.
