Character/Design:
Nerdarhatio posted a set of unproduced NS era figure designs from Hasbro. Among them was a design for a female ninja. I contacted nerdarhatio to ask about the character's name because it was in a row of drawings in which the names were clipped off. Nerdarhatio said it was meant to be an alternate Jinx design, per none other than Derryl DePriest. With Jinx having received her own NS figure- plus another untapped one amongst the drawings (which would have been 3 NS figures for Jinx)- I decided to interpret the design as a new character.
At some point, the Dreadnoks would probably pick up a martial artist. (Road Pig doesn't count.) So, here is what-could-have-been Jinx reimagined as Janky, the Dreadnok's ninja.
The blindfold gimmick is also abandoned. It works for Jinx and should be a character-specific element for her.
Colors & Paints:
Based on the unproduced figure. The images I've seen of the unproduced Jinx are very pixelated. And the uniform has kind of a green/tealish blue feel going on, like some of the Dreadnoks vehicles, so that's a nice coincidence. The hair was switched to blue-green to give her some punk vibe, and to look less like Jinx.
Sculpting & Modifying:
The mid-torso articulation point and knee pins were epoxied smooth. The forearm wraps and sculpted. The feet were swapped out with the Scarlett ones and blended at the ankles.
Thanks for looking.
