Years ago, I wanted to create an alien foe for the G.I.Joe team that had an eye for a head.

Fast forward to last month, where this curious keychain trinket from china caught my eye because it was an eye, a blinking eye, that looks like those from those creepy dolls. I thought I could definitely use it for a custom so I bought it (and hopefully I can return to buy more next time).

Searching for possible designs on the internet for "a creature with an eye for a head", I came across Optikk from the He-Man universe.

Granted, I'm not a big fan of the MOTU line (the 80s one), I never paid much attention to the later MOTU cartoons, and I didn't know about Optikk.

Anyway, I researched some more about him, and decided to base my custom on him, and this was the result.
