Commtech Troopers, or Prophets, are largely responsible not only for keeping Omega commanders and fighters informed during battle, but they also help to spread the "world" of Omega; they adhere to the same doctrines as infantry but are far more prone to seek to avoid fighting or being captured, and appear to have less combat training. All are skilled in a wide variety of communication systems including short wave, cellular, satellite and laser-light communications. Up to four are assigned to every Omega company and sometimes act in a line-of-sight relay when conditions (such as excessive jamming of signals) prevent other methods from working.

Lightly armored, they carry only a small, pump action shotgun for close range defense.
