After ignoring them for more than a year, I suddenly tuned in to the DC Infinite Heroes line after they upgraded the articulation in conjunction with those Publi Enemies-themed multi-packs about a year ago. Since then I've been grabbing the newer figures and supplementing the line with customs where necessary. This is an example of the latter.
I've always loved Grundy, since the first time I saw the character on the old Superfriends cartoon. But when I watched the more recent Justice League animated series with my son, I was struck by the very Hulk-like direction they'd taken the character in.
I missed my tall, lanky, zombie villain from back in the day, and this figure represents my best effort to recapture him in a scale that's appropriate for Mattel's new line.
