I've got a confession to make: I've always been a closet Starduster fan. I'm not sure what it was about his figure that appealed to me: when I first saw the mail-in offer, I wasn't interested in him. Then, a friend got him, and after a while, he really grew on me. For whatever reason, something about that figure really clicked with me. When I decided to remake all the non-ball-jointed figures, Starduster was a high priority. I wanted to stay close to the original, but it didn't seem well-suited for a jet-pack trooper. So, I gave him some padded arms and shins, chose some similar parts for the rest of the figure, and voila!...an updated Starduster. I'm pretty happy with the result. I never thought I'd find a use for that Longarm head, but it bears a resemblance to Starduster's filecard picture.
