I have been wanting to do customs of Zartan's siblings Zandar and Zarana. Having learned of Zarana's availability soon-to-be at the 2011 ComicCon, I was relieved to find that I wouldn't deal with the insurmountable headache of figuring out what parts would be needed and available (answer: none that I have).

Zandar was an interesting experiment in that I had the body figured out and together well before I could figure out what head to use. Though there were many candidates, the headband is a sizable focal point, and with it a challenge. I decided that I would shave the beard off of Outback and cover the imperfections with the paint that he adorns his face with. How well that worked is for others to decide.
