The Sandstorm is the desert varient of the Avalanche. It has been reconfigured to handle desert conditions for the Joes looking for heavy ground firepower against Cobra forces. The hovercraft is ideal for scouting and recon missions allowing the Joes to decide their plan of attack when they come across the secret Cobra desert hideout. With its mine launcher and missle complements, the Sandstorm decimates Cobras ground forces while smaller Joe forces move in to mop up what is left.
