The Dragonfly has always played a crucial part in the GI Joe aerial support. Upgrading to an attack chopper with more powerful weapons and surveillance was bound to happen. Not wanting to take away from one of the best back bones the Joes have, the Dragonfly II was brought into service and retained the Dragonfly name for recognition.

Wild Bill couldn't wait to try out the new Dragonfly and has again proven his ability to master support aircraft and trains other Joes on how to use it. His ability to control the new Dragonfly as if it was an extension of himself has proven useful for GI Joe and has been affective at taking out Cobra targets on all the missions he has performed in.
