This figure started out because I liked the head from the Chap Mei figure and the articulation from the Army of Darkness figure. I didn't have a purpose for him until I was in a local toy store and some kid had put a Papo knight on a Schleich crocodile. The idea clicked and conjured up memories of the video game Joust, another one of my favorites. The Chap Mei robotic legs gave the ostrich the perfect armored look.
