Shortly after the disbanding of the GI-Joe team in the mid-90's due to changes in government, policy and funding, Flint returned to where he began, English Literature. Becoming an Associate Professor of English Lit. at UC-Berkeley, he taught for a time until a couple of years into the Second Iraq War. After not hearing a hiss out of Cobra for years, it was discovered that they were in fact the ones behind the events that led up to the war. The Joe Team was reinstated and Flint was brought out of retirement and promoted to rank of Master Warrant Officer.

This was my first entry into the ARAH or Die: Where Are They Now Custom Contest on Hisstank for which I won the Organizer's Choice Award. The idea was to create a custom using only vintage-style parts with any type of accessories that portrayed a Joe character as they may appear today; aged over time since the early 80's.
