I wanted to give this character a more grounded look. Also I decided to scar up his face a bit as well as some minor burn marks. Blackout is supposed to be a pretty sick guy and I wanted to convey that with this figure. So I went with a very "hardened" look to his face.
There were several figures from the JvsC/VvsV era that were pretty cool and I wanted to do remakes of them with the modern style. I always felt that the silver on the figure design was a bit much so I went with more of a worn grey leather look for any element that may have been silver on the original figure to bring it down to a more realistic look.
