D.U.S.T. Vipers are used to supplement installations in more arid regions of the world. U.S. military intelligence believes that a large percentage of these troops come from middle-eastern descent. Their training includes many, long months of exposure to dry desert environments. Many times they fight alongside the Sand Vipers and Desert Scorpions. Unlike the Scorpions though, these guys actually prefer and request the desert assignment.
