Animal Planet Hovercraft

Search & Rescue is one of the most vital aspects of the Coast Guard's mission, the Minke is a prototype hovercraft designed for S&R as well as patrolling areas where typical Coast Guard craft are unable to go.

I got this in an Animal Planet set. I immediately knew who was getting it and how I wanted to paint it. Painting it took far more effort then I was expecting. My primer would flake off the glossy plastic. I sanded the plastic to finally get it to stick but still ran into issues with chipping.

I may try my hand on another one of these one day but not any time soon.
