After successfully recruiting former Joes to work against both GI Joe and Cobra. Destro has gone missing on an unnamed island. The newly formed operation meet at their destination to find that Destro has been killed, long ago it seems.

After much discussion it is decided that they were recruited by someone posing as Destro, since his mask has been stolen, but his ruby necklace and rifle are untouched.

Only the future will tell what mysteries will be revealed by the discovery of Destro's body. Will the group move ahead with their mission? Or will they hunt the impostor that is now in control of the Iron Grenadiers.
