Black Manta was always a favorite Legion of Doom villain of mine, and after SCRAPGM posted his version of this custom on the site, I knew I had to make my own. I was able to get an Imaginext Black Manta figure off eBay, and after a little drilling, was able to get it to set on a ROC Ripcord Body. I used acetone to get the Joe logo off the figure, and the legs and arms swaps were relatively easy to achieve with just boiling & popping from the MU War Machine figure I got from Kilcarr. The Ripcord head was pulled from a fodder bag I got from HypnoHustler at the NO convention, but he swears he didn't do the painting on it. A mystery, to be sure!
