Bane is a mercenary, selling his skills to the highest bidder, and is a frequent agent of Cobra and partner to Major Bludd and Scrap Iron, although usually not at the same time. He utilizes a potent adrenalizer developed by Dr. Mindbender, nicknamed 'Venom' -- the refined concoction of the formula that created Venomous Maximus. After a long week of mercenarying, Bane 'relaxes' and burns off the excess Venom in his system by wrestling under various aliases around the world.
