Cobra Commander discovered the existence of the Mutagen Ooze flowing in the blood of each of the Teenage Mutant Mutant Ninja Turtles. Cobra Commander sent his Red Ninjas to the sewers to kidnap the Turtles so that Dr. Mindbender could experiment on them and replicate the mutation process of the Turtles and build a mutant army. But that night, the Turtles went out to watch the premiere of Maleficent and it was only Master Splinter who's at home. The Red Ninjas realized that Splinter was also mutated by the Mutagen Ooze so they decided to could kidnap Master Splinter instead. But Splinter is a true master of Ninjitsu, even a dozen Red Ninja could not subdue him. When the Turtles arrived home, they saw Red Ninjas tied together upside down while Master Splinter was in front of the TV eating Pizza and watching Arrow.
