Cobra Commando Trainees are Vipers in their early stages of moving up the Viper chains. They are trained in many different areas. Once it is determined what they have an aptitude for their training becomes concentrated in that area. This particular Viper will most likely become a Gyro Viper and Pilot the Cobra Mamba. That is if he doesn't wash out. While in training these Vipers maintain the Cobra facilities they are assigned to, in an effort to keep them humble, and to realize they are only a small part of the greater Cobra machine.
