As far as I know,this is the first JvC Cesspool custom. I always liked the Cesspool character, he seemed underused and could've fit well into the Cobra hierarchy. During his Marvel stint,he even seemed more insane than Cobra Commander at times! But he had a collective,business-like insanity to him,the genius kind. Hopefully Hasbro will give this character some due, he was really unique and was the perfect villain for the Eco-Warriors line back in the day. I'd like to see him back in the comic's fold as well.

As soon as I saw Scalpel's head, I instantly thought of Cesspool. After fulfilling a few other customs and learning about customizing in general, I finally decided to take a shot at Cesspool. I did the face first,applying a little epoxy for scarring and I really went at it giving his face a burnt and fleshy look to it. I got the upper body chosen before the lower portion, replacing Overkill's gunarm with Sand Viper's. Giving Cesspool his golden arm, which I assume is filled with cybernetics since Cesspool's right arm was so badly damaged by his chemical burns. Finding a good color for his eco-suit was another trick, I went to the hobby store and my brother suggested a metallic 'teal' color, I went with it and I think it turned out great. I also combined some purple and orange to make him similar to his original RAH version. Overall, I think this came out as a great looking custom and update for Cesspool.
