Wedge started with an early career in the Army, joining as soon as he was able and became part of the SAS where he learned commando style tactics. After some time in college, he became an officer and earned his flight wings. The man loves to fly and has been selected to pilot the new X-Wing30 Conquest planes for the Joes.

Wedge is my favorite good guy Star Wars character and I wanted to be able to include him in my Joe-verse without having to resort to using the SW figure of him. I also wanted to get the look, so he was recognizable as part of the SW universe, but wanted him to look grounded in Earth technology. As I was looking for parts to use, the Airtight figure just jumped out at me having everything I was looking for, including the ballistic vest and control box on the chest. I never really figured out what the thing is around the pilot's leg above their boot, but it looks like an ammo belt (I know that's not what it is), so I carved away part of his leg to create a flat spot to wrap an ammo belt around. All that was left was the helmet and Tomahawk's was just about perfect after cutting off the boom mike.
