Modern Era Skyhawk

This is another quick and fun custom. I think I have painted one or two more before. A couple tricks for this custom: 1) The tail section under the fin and wings is not patterned. It doesnt need to be because it is hardly visible and the solid burgundy breaks up the python pattern and gives some contrast to it. This is a good example of less is more. 2) To paint the canopy the glass sections are masked off individually. The tape is formed to the glass and the tape is trimmed with a sharp razor blade or exact-o. The tape remains in place until after the pattern is applied.
