I was always a fan of the simpler, animated designs of the Joes and Cobras, so that's what I go for with the majority of my customs. Anyway, I repainted the face to make the eyes green like the cartoon. I glued on the chestplate which served to cover up the "beer gut" look the JVC Zartan had. I was gonna re-paint the torso in a skin tone color, but I hated the way the old Zartan had that 1980's "Muscle-shirt" thing look, so I left it the way you see it. I think it looks better. Only problem I had was when I went to take this picture, I scratched some of the paint off the one knee pad as you can see, so I'll have to fix that. All in all, I am very pleased with it, and think he's a dead ringer for his animated counterpart. Let me know what you guys think.
