Upper deck and top from original Flagg, plus wheel and control panels. The deck is plywood and the lower deck of the control tower is craft board. The deck is hand painted and is eight feet long. The arrestor cables actually retract and are made from ID badge holders.

The USS Flagg was the Joe team's home away from home for ten years until the team was decommissioned in 1995. Now that Cobra has reemerged, the ship has been repaired and refitted with modern components.

When I first saw the USS Flagg 30 years ago, I was amazed. I wanted to build one for years. At Joecon 2014, a dealer was selling off parts cheap, so I grabbed them. I got the small ladders and control panels from eBay.
