Data: Tiger Force is G.I. Joe's elite wilderness unit, and so it's members often need to be able to access areas that can't be reached by ground-based or aerial vehicles. The Hovercrafts carried by HAVOCs often survive the destruction of the HAVOC itself and carry out this function perfectly. This led to a number of spare Hovercrafts being repainted and given the designation of "Tiger Whiskers"
