Planetary Express Delivery Service exists in the JoeVerse as a way to move goods around the Universe as quietly and conveniently as possible. Which winds up usually never quiet or convenient. If you can imagine a mashup between Futurama and Firefly, you'd be right on, only swap the Lunartix Empire for Mom & the Reavers.

This figure was part of my winning 2015 Assembly Required Custom Vehicle entry.

I had a tough time figuring out how to bring Bender into this project. I thought about trying to be very literal with his look, then thought maybe go for an Ashley Wood robot look, and then decided on just a straight up humanoid robot. I had a couple of those Real Steel figures sitting around forever, not knowing what to do with them as they were a little out of scale, and decided one would work perfectly. I had the normal arms on the figure and was content, but was talked into Doc Oc arms at the last minute to be more true to the character.
